00:09I was going to say the first thing I noticed was the chemistry on screen.

00:13It just seems like you are a proper real family and I'm seeing it before my eyes now.

00:17Like, do you just feel like you're family now?

00:19No, it's real. Absolutely.

00:21Yeah, for real. It was very natural.

00:23And, uh, and obviously, thank you for saying that because it influenced the, um,

00:28the performances. We were free to try and fail and fall and get up and go again,

00:33you know, and, uh, that kind of trust.

00:34The environment was set by our leader though, by Malcolm.

00:36He made it so to where we can trust each other and having the OGs there as well,

00:41you know, Michael Potts, you know, Samuel Jackson,

00:43Wilsonians who knew August Wilson, done his works for years.

00:47Um, that all helped in the, uh, comfort level to be able to go for it,

00:52to really be confident in our, uh, in our performances.

00:55What is his annoying traits then if you're seeing he's like a brother?

01:00I complimented you when I came in and I said,

01:02I heard that someone said you were really good looking.

01:05And then you said that wasn't a conversation that was had in here.

01:07And I said, maybe it was just in my head.

01:09So that's a good compliment. Now we need to balance it.

01:11He would get on my nerves when he will, um, just kidding.

02:11I strive to, to do as an actor, like to reach the kind of levels of, of, of the art of performance,

02:18um, in, in a moment that, that's what we all strive to, to, to, to get.

02:23And yet she is extremely lighthearted and, and, you know, the life of the party really,

02:31like the, the makeup trailer be live when she comes in, she is like, don't let her fool you

02:36because, and I didn't know that going in, I just a fan of her work, but I'm thinking,

02:39she's like, it's like a, all right, it's loud.

02:42It's, it's, it's how you doing?

02:44It's all, it's all that stuff.

02:46Um, so I, which is a great balance to this like deep, deep artist.

02:50She's hilarious.

02:51And we're waiting on the comedy.

02:54I know like we are waiting on it because you blow me away every single time,

02:57but I'm always left like crying and just wanting to hug you.

03:10Cause you were also on this intimate set and you had Uncle Samuel there as well.

03:14You were being directed by your brother.

03:16Was it just a lot of laughs?

03:17Because it's also heavy.

03:20It's, I think it's heavy.

03:21I think it's complex too.

03:22It's a, it's a lot of different dynamics of the human experience.

03:27Um, the, the OGs are definitely funny and beautiful.

03:30And I think that I was the butt of a lot of jokes and I'm okay with that.

03:44I'm pretty sure he said something about my cakes was dry.
