00:00It's hard to expect anything now. It's not a surprise, but you have to see it in-game.

00:16So that's why I was a little bit anxious, because you cannot understand what will happen

00:22in the game. I felt that. I felt that they were trying, they were thinking too much during

00:28the game, and that is normal. We started very well, but then we should have more possession

00:35with the ball, kept more of the ball. Sometimes we had the ball in the defence and the rest

00:40of the guys were too stuck, because they were thinking where I should be. So this is the

00:46first point, when we make a new structure and you are so clear on that, they need time

00:53to have some fluidity in the game. So I felt that, but it's through training and they did

01:00okay.

01:01How do you address that, because you've got a game on Thursday, then you have another

01:12game, and there's no midweeks when you don't have matches.

01:13We have to find a way. I think the only way to do it is that we have games and the guys

01:20that don't play have trainings. Everybody's going to play and everybody's going to be

01:25on the bench so they have the feeling of the game, but they need to train. With this schedule,

01:31we need to rotate the team. So we'll try to use that to train, to improve the team and

01:37to win matches. So that's the point. Without time, we have to find the time. I think this

01:42is the only way. Some of the guys are going to play, some of the guys in the next day

01:47will work on our idea, and then they will change the position.

01:54What's the biggest thing you've learned about your players today? What would be your message

02:07to the fans who maybe feel frustrated that you didn't capitalise on the early goal and

02:08go and win the game?

02:09What I understood today is that they are trying. They are really trying. They stay in the positions,

02:14they receive the information and they try to use it in the game. That is very important.

02:20Even in the difficult moments, I felt that they were doing the things that we said for

02:27them to do. I know it's frustrating for the fans, but we are changing so much in this

02:36moment with a lot of games. We are going to suffer for a long period and we will try to

02:42win games. This will take time, but I know we have to win games. We could win, we could

02:47lose if it was not Onana, so we have to understand that and think and be pragmatical that these

02:55guys had two days to train and to change so much.

02:59You mentioned Onana. How impressed were you with Onana's performance?

03:03I think it's so clear for everybody. It saved us two times, at least. One important thing

03:11is that he used to do so long balls and he tried to connect with the players. That was

03:17very good for me. I think he understood the idea. He did a great job.

03:23What do you make of the whole experience?

03:31The atmosphere, you are lucky guys. You have by far the best league in the world and you

03:37see this every weekend. To tell you the truth, when the game starts, it's the same thing

03:47since the third division for here. I'm so focused on the game and I'm playing with my

03:53players inside the pitch. You are lucky guys. We have the best league in the world.

04:02You made some changes that people might not have expected. Are you finding out about your

04:13players, what they are capable of and what positions they might be able to do in this process?

04:18Of course. You have to do it. Everybody knows that we have a problem now with the central

04:24backs. There are three defenders, two wingers, two midfielders, two number 10s and one striker.

04:30If you play Bruno Fernandes in the same position as Garnac, it's a completely different game.

04:36When we want to listen to you guys, a lot of Manchester United doesn't have a structure.

04:42We will have this situation of you see a structure and you will say that it's not fluid.

04:50This is like steps. We have to put in these heads the structure. When they start thinking

04:56about the structure, they will play so much better. We need time to do that. During this

05:02time, we have to manage to win games. It's very important and I know that.

05:08Ruben, Lloris just mentioned Amad there. Obviously, a more familiar position for him as a right wing

05:14back, but there are lots of good things from him. What do you think of his performance?

05:19I think he was very good. He improves a lot. Since these three days, he improves so much

05:27defensively. But for him, the opponent that he had all the time was the left back. It's

05:35like a winger that follows the left back. It's so much easier, I think, because he doesn't

05:42have to think, can I jump in the central back or not? You just follow one guy and go forward

05:47with the same guy. It's like a game man to man in that area. I think he was so focused

05:55on everything. I think he did a great job.

05:59What quality for the goal?

06:03All the team, but they are top players. You just put in the positions and then they do

06:091-2, run with the ball and then the good movement from Ash. I think Garner was there also to

06:16score. Dalot was in the position. So the position was there. We managed to score. I think now

06:24I know after that goal, with the confidence, we have to have more ball and we can do it.

06:34Is that confidence issue because of the way the season has gone?

06:42No, it's different things. They are thinking too much because things are so different.

06:51Some details that they used to pass the ball and go forward, even the central backs. Now

06:56they have to go back. This type of things, they start going forward and they have to

07:00think too much. Dalot used to do it, pass the ball to central backs, go inside, play

07:06as a midfielder. Now he has to stick in this position. So it's hard for the players in

07:11three days to try to cope with everything. But we have two ways or we forget about the

07:18idea and I think that's why I was brought here in the middle of the season. We try to

07:25cope with the things that I used to do and next year in the same stage we will be here

07:32with the same problems. Or we start now, we risk a little bit, we suffer a little bit

07:37and in the next year we will be better at this point. So we have to risk it a little

07:43bit and they are thinking too much because we are changing too much with two trainings

07:48now without space to improve in training.
