Good morning, I'm Amy Simons, I work for Penzance Council and I'm the Operations Officer.

With my team, we bring the Christmas tree to Penzance.

So our Christmas tree this year is a Cornish tree, which came from Santa Trees in Liscard.

We have some lovely local companies who help us deliver it into town, which is Andrew Newport.

They come in every year to help us put the tree up.

We also use Robin from High Maintenance, he helps us to get the tree up and also puts the lights on the tree.

This year our tree is 25 foot.

We haven't put the lights up as you can see today because we've got a storm berth coming in this weekend.

We're going to let the tree settle in.

We may have to come back on Monday morning to re-straighten it after the really high winds

and then later on next week we'll put the Christmas lights up already on Saturday 30th for the light switch on.

I hope to see lots of people coming round to see the tree and hope everyone likes it.
