00:00The KBS Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources has allocated additional funds to several types of fish,

00:07such as anglers, weightlifters, taekwondo players and others,

00:10which will support this is the latest response from the Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, YB Hanayo.

00:15We got 10 fish, and I will ask Jeff to share the list.

00:19And we have chosen this fish for talent development,

00:23because we think this fish is a fish that is competed in the Olympic fish

00:28and it is important for Malaysia to have various efforts to develop talent in this fish.

00:35That's how we chose that fish, the Olympic fish, and this fish needs intervention now.

00:41Hannah, who was met in the KBS Masters Games official conference on Thursday,

00:47also announced that this competition is the first in Malaysia involving individuals over 40 years of age.

00:53Interestingly, among the 17 former national athletes, world champions and celebrities who will participate in 12 types of fish

00:59that are competed in, such as pickleball, master sports, swimming, cycling and loon balls.

01:06This competition is very inspiring with more than 1,500 participants

01:11and the oldest participant is 79 years old in the sports fish.

01:17And I believe with the awareness now that fish is for everyone,

01:22and regardless of age, we create a platform for competition in Malaysia

01:27for the people to have a competition platform.

01:30By having a competition, it means there will be training.

01:33Training is what will ensure a healthy lifestyle throughout the time for these athletes.

01:39The cost of fishing is not more than 2 million that has been allocated by the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources.

01:45I would like to thank all the sponsors and fishing organizations that have helped to succeed this time.

01:51We have 12 types of fish that will be competed this weekend,

01:54and I hope with this awareness,

01:58the fishing organizations will be able to attract the interest of the people of Emas to enter and learn about these new types of fish.
