00:00I don't think anything that's happened has been surprising or unexpected.
00:05Firstly, I think the fact that Khun Thaksin is becoming more involved with Perth Thai's campaigns for local elections
00:11is not something that is unexpected or surprising.
00:14I mean, we of course know Khun Thaksin's affiliation with Perth Thai Party all along
00:19and we've also seen him involved in certain capacity in previous elections as well.
00:25And even in the general election last year, we also saw Khun Thaksin becoming more active than before
00:30in terms of becoming involved with Perth Thai Party's election campaign.
00:33So the fact that we saw him, now that he is in Thailand, getting up on stage at a rally
00:38for the local election of Udon Thani is not surprising.
00:41Secondly, I think his message, especially messages that are related to the People's Party
00:48and the former Move Forward Party, are also not surprising as well.
00:52I think it's an attempt to try and discredit certain parts of our work.
00:55So in a sense, it's our responsibility to respond to those allegations
01:00and get the people to see our side of the argument.
01:04I think in a democratic competition, we are not unfazed or scared of any competitor.
01:09I think what we are putting most emphasis on is how do we ensure that we have the candidates
01:15and the policies that can really change the lives of the people.
01:18I think what we are scared of the most is if we were to win an election
01:21and not able to deliver the changes that we promised to the people.
01:24So that's something that we are thinking every day in terms of how to avoid
01:28and to make sure that we do have the right set of policies that can really transform the lives of Thai people.
