00:20for the disaster of the Super Typhoon Pepito in the town of Santo Domingo in Albay.

00:24Since Manuel worked as a seaman, he also has experience in monitoring weather forecasts.

00:31This helped him to prepare his family as well as his neighbors.

00:37I gave a warning to the nearby neighborhoods

00:42that the trees there are being cut down

00:48to avoid the damage to the properties.

00:54Here in my area, I already removed my plants and solar panels

01:01in anticipation of the incoming typhoon.

01:04The Super Typhoon Pepito in his resort was not a big problem.

01:08After the news team visited many towns in Albay yesterday,

01:13many businesses remained closed.

01:16According to Albay Provincial Disaster Reduction and Management Office Head Dr. Cedric Daep,

01:21there were no casualties in the Super Typhoon Pepito in the province.

01:26Local chief executives also asked their townsmen to evacuate after the typhoon.

01:32Albay Acting Governor Glenda Ong Bonggao also ordered schools to suspend classes today

01:38even though the students who returned to school have not yet been rescued.

01:42Meanwhile, the Police Regional Office 5 is preparing to clean the roads

01:48for the government rescue and relief response.

01:51According to Bicol Regional Director Andrei Dizon,

01:54they are already cooperating with the Office of Civil Events

01:57and Regional Disaster Reduction and Management Office.

02:00They are now targeting Catanduanes because the PNP has not yet been contacted in Siam.

02:07They are also preparing to add relief goods and help to Tabaco Port.

02:11Dizon also said that the stretch of Maharlika Highway from Camarines Norte to Matnog in Sorsogon is passable.

02:18There is also a large area in the PNP stations where the line of communication is affected

02:27The Bicol Region also needs additional food packs and non-food items such as medicine.

02:32Almost 140,000 families or almost 580,000 individuals were evacuated in the Bicol Region.
