Carsley leaves England post relieved after Nations League promotion

00:00I think there's be fair to say there's a bit of relief you know it's I suppose if

00:06we'd have if we'd have spoken this at the start of the of the campaign we

00:09probably would have said well you're expected to get promotion and but it's

00:13it's difficult you know no team has rolled over for us and let us just carry

00:17on I found it challenging personally I know the rest of the staff have I think

00:22the the positive things that we've showed as a staff that we can do it I

00:25think it's always it's always a you know a positive thing when you we have

00:29coaches in the building that are capable and I've enjoyed it and I think we spoke

00:36a little bit about it yesterday then with the you know it is it is it is

00:40tough and I suppose it's the it's you know you get used to that awkwardness

00:45and the that bit of that bit of nerves in terms of you know you you can you

00:52constant I'm sat in the house and I'm constantly thinking of the next camp for

00:55the next squad and who's playing well and constantly watching Greece and

00:59Ireland and you know you know unhealthily watching the opposition but

01:06that's that's the way that's the way I am and that's where the rest of the

01:09staff are and I think it's you know the relief of getting promotion is a big

01:15thing so maybe in a you know maybe in a couple of days I'll look back on it and

01:20in and think yeah it's been quite enjoyable
