00:00In recent days, the Modi government announced an increase in Central Employees' Income Tax, i.e. DA, and increased it by 3%.

00:13After this, the Income Tax they received, i.e. Dearness Allowance, increased from 50% to 53%.

00:21This increased DA will be merged into the employees' basic salary before the inflation.

00:32Now, the Central Government has increased the DA by 12%.

00:38After this, all the Central Employees will see a huge increase in their salaries.

00:43So, let's explain the calculation in this video.

00:46So, the Central Government announced an increase in Dearness Allowance,

00:49and this increase will be applicable for the employees of the Central Employees and Department of Public Enterprises,

00:55who take salaries according to the 5th and 6th Pay Commission.

01:01So, for the employees coming under the 6th Pay Commission, the current DA has been increased from 249% to 246%,

01:11which was applicable from July 1, 2024.

01:13According to 249%, they used to get Rs. 1,02,770.

01:19Now, according to 246%, the DA will increase to Rs. 1,05,780.

01:25Now, due to this change, the monthly salary of these employees will be increased by Rs. 3,000.

01:32Now, if we talk about the 5th Pay Commission,

01:34according to the 5th Pay Commission, the DA has been increased from 443% to 455%,

01:44and this increase is also active from July 1, 2024, which has increased the DA by a total of 12%.

01:52Now, if we talk about the 7th Pay Commission,

01:54all the Central Employees and Pensioners coming under the 7th Pay Commission,

02:00have been increased in the DA and Expense Relief, i.e. Dearness Relief.

02:05These DAs have been increased from 50% to 53%, which is active from July 1, 2024.

02:12Now, the Central Government has seen a huge increase in the salary of all the employees of the Central Government

02:20and this is a gift from the Modi Government to the Central Employees.
