00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is confident that the relationship between the Philippines and the United States will not change
00:08following the victory of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
00:11Among the presidents, the U.S. has been the country's longest-standing treaty partner.
00:16That is why this will not change in the replacement of the U.S. leader.
00:21Although it is too early to discuss the relationship between the two countries,
00:26the chief executive believes that there will be no major changes.
00:30Meanwhile, the president greeted President-elect Trump
00:34and saw the readiness to deepen the relationship between the two countries.
00:39As part of the strong cooperation of the U.S. and the Philippines in the discussion of defense and security,
00:45trade and investment, renewable energy, and others.
00:49I don't think it will change, you know, the global forces that are,
00:55and, you know, they are our oldest treaty partner.

01:04So, I will have to see if there is a major change, but I don't think so.
