00:09from this DreamWorks animated feature that prove a robot can make you cry.

00:21Pink Tail's advice on motherhood.

00:24Roz and Bright Bill are brought together under tragic circumstances.

00:27Of course, the tragedy is lost on both of them at first.

00:30When the adorable gosling hatches, he just sees a mother figure.

00:34Roz, meanwhile, sees an objective.

00:36Taking care of him is your task now.

00:47While Roz is dedicated to fulfilling the little bird's needs, motherhood isn't part of her

01:10She's accepted that not all her children will survive in this hazardous environment.

03:22As such, Longneck realizes it's not enough for him to give Bright Bill a pep talk.

03:27Roz is the one who really needs a confidence boost.

03:30Despite Roz's missteps, Longneck helps her see that she's already helped Bright Bill

03:33get further than anyone imagined.

03:36He encourages Roz not to give up on Bright Bill, and, just as essential, not to give

03:40up on herself.

03:47Bright Bill is Roz's heart.

03:49Taking damage on the island, Roz loses more than a few parts.

03:52Ironically, the more pieces are taken away, the more she gains emotionally.

04:16To protect Bright Bill, Roz reaches deep inside herself, pulling out her power core.

06:17called a temporary ceasefire in observance of Christmas.

06:20The animals of the forest might not celebrate holidays, but the harsh winter season does

06:25bring about an unlikely truce.

06:41Even with Bright Bill gone, Roz doesn't lose her maternal instincts.

06:45With help from Fink, she brings the animals under one roof, although this presents another

06:49issue.

06:50The freezing temperatures don't change the natural order between predators and prey.

06:55Fink steps up at this moment, convincing the other animals not to let Roz's efforts go

06:59to waste.

07:11It might not be Zootopia, but until the storm lets up, the animals realize that they need

07:15each other to survive.

07:17If a bear can make peace, so can everyone else.

07:34Bright Bill migrates Roz isn't sure if Bright Bill will ever

07:38forgive her for what happened to his biological family.

07:40For now, all that matters is that she teaches him to fly in time for migration.

07:54Finding him a tutor in Thunderbolt, Bright Bill learns to kiss the sky.

07:58Aaron Morris' vocals truly elevate this triumphant moment.

08:13As Bright Bill takes flight with his flock, Roz's task is fulfilled.

08:17Yet she doesn't feel entirely fulfilled.

08:19Despite taking great joy in seeing Bright Bill succeed, Roz is left with Empty Nest

08:25The fact they never fully resolved their differences only adds to the bittersweet sentiment.

08:29Watching Bright Bill fly away, the conflicted Roz has become much more than a machine.
