00:00Protesters in Belgrade have demanded the arrest of officials just days after a concrete canopy
00:07collapsed at a railway station, killing 14 people and injuring three.
00:12Police formed a cordon outside the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure as several
00:16thousand people called for ranking government ministers, including the prime minister, to
00:21step down.
00:22The concrete canopy that ran along the front of the railway station in the northern city
00:35of Novi Sad collapsed suddenly on Friday.
00:38Fourteen people were killed, including a six-year-old girl.
00:42The three injured, who were between 18 and 24 years old, all had to have limbs amputated.
00:47The train station has been renovated twice in recent years, and critics of Serbia's government
00:52attributed the disaster to rampant corruption, lack of transparency and sloppy renovations.
00:59Serbia's government has promised a thorough investigation, with prosecutors saying they've
01:03already questioned more than two dozen people.
