00:33That was the first time that I had an encounter with the President.
00:41And you can see how much he was affected by what happened,
00:47not just in Albay, but in the whole Bicol region.
00:51So you can feel his support for all the victims of the earthquake.
00:59And I really appreciate that, not just as a newly elected governor,
01:04but to think that in these occasions, the National Government is really helpful.
01:10Bonggaw was surprised by the press briefing held yesterday that reached
01:15So, 143,560 families of 521,388 people were affected by the Christine earthquake.
01:251,847 are still staying in evacuation centers
01:31because their homes were destroyed by floods and landslides.
01:35According to Albay Provincial Safety and Emergency Management Office Chief
01:38and Provincial Engineering Office Head, Engineer Dante Baclao,
01:42all national roads and bridges in Laloigan are now passable,
01:45except for some internal roads in some municipalities that were severely affected by the earthquake.
01:51Buses from the Ligaspe City Grand Terminal to Manila and Visayas
01:55are now allowed to travel.
01:57The Laloigan Government's call to those who wish to donate
02:01sleeping kits, kitchen utensils or cooking utensils,
02:04school supplies, diapers for children, and hygiene kits
