00:00With a view to a decarbonized and digitalized future,
00:09the manager of the Eterna national transmission network
00:12organized the Innovation Zone Forum in San Francisco,
00:16the first initiative of the group that brought together
00:18start-ups, players of European and American energy,
00:22and American investors for a constructive comparison
00:25on the increasingly urgent challenges
00:27that the electric sector is facing.
00:30The forum, organized with the support of the Italian Innovation Center
00:34at Innovit, Italian Innovation and Culture Hub,
00:38of the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco
00:41and of the MindBridge partner,
00:43is the first international relief initiative
00:46organized by Eterna in the field of its Innovation Zone in Silicon Valley.
00:51Innovation becomes fundamental to realize the Twin Transition,
00:56an energy transition that is naturally supported
01:00by a transition, by a digital transformation.
01:03And when I speak of innovation, I mean an open innovation,
01:08I mean an innovation that allows interaction
01:12with all the actors of the ecosystem.
01:15I am referring to universities, research centers,
01:19but also to other companies.
01:22And that is why we are in San Francisco
01:25to inaugurate the first Innovation Zone of Eterna,
01:29a place where we intend to support start-ups,
01:35but not only by promoting them,
01:38but above all by validating their solutions,
01:42their ideas, their inventions.
01:44The first day of the Eterna Innovation Zone Forum
01:48took place on October 28 at the Innovit headquarters,
01:51where five Italian start-ups presented to innovative investors
01:55of Silicon Valley their technologies for the energy sector.
