London zoo's animals get tasty treats for Halloween

Halloween came early for London Zoo's Asiatic lions and meerkats, as they were given spooky treats to play with on Tuesday (October 29).

00:18to leave it as it is just so the cubs have got something they can really grip onto and

00:22It's really good for their kind of learning, so it's really good for them to kind of get

00:26those hunting skills, they have something they can grip onto, they can learn to pounce,

00:30they learn how to kind of attack things and roll over, you can kind of see from the footage

00:34that they are grabbing them, throwing things, carrying them around, they're having a good

00:38time, they're playing, but play is how they learn those vital kind of adult skills as

00:42they get older.
