Premier League managers were sympathetic to Erik ten Hag, who was sacked by Manchester United on Monday

00:06I think he's done a really good job.

00:12He's won titles there, he has changed a lot of things.

00:15He's a phenomenal coach and it's difficult when this happens.

00:19Unfortunately, the exposure that we have as managers and we are always there in the line

00:25and especially when you look at the game and how they lost the game,

00:29But, OK, they made that decision.

00:32Wish him all the best for his new chapter.

00:36I guess, disappointing as it was, almost inevitable with the scrutiny it had.

00:46So, yeah, I mean, it's just the nature of football these days.

00:52Always, I feel sorry for the managers, you know,

00:58So I'm so sorry for him.

00:59I have a good, I think, incredible relation.

01:03I think he represents Man United in the highest level in terms of behaviour,

01:08So our job, the manager, is one of the few jobs in all the jobs in the world

01:13that the people are expecting to be sacked.

01:15So we will see him, I think, in the near future somewhere at a big club again.

01:19But at this moment, it's for him and his family.

01:22It's, of course, tragedies, maybe a bit too much to say,

01:26but it's a big disappointment.
