00:00For me, it feels unreal. It was a dream that I had since childhood and now I'm living it. I can't
00:13believe I have this gown on my head and I'm talking about it, I'm talking about the feeling
00:18of after wearing it. There were a lot of girls who auditioned like there were 2,000 girls who
00:24came from across the globe, across India to audition and out of which 150 were selected
00:30and after 150, 30 were selected and after 30, I think we made it top 15. Top 15 to top 7 and
00:37then top 3. It's been a lot of hard work, facing a lot of challenges but it has been all worth it.
00:43I come from Dadra Nagar, Devi Daman in Deu and most of the people don't know about the
00:53student territory and growing up there were very few people around me to look up to who has went
01:00all out to chase their dreams. That was one of the challenges. Apart from that, I come from a
01:05very stereotypical background and there are a lot of myths that are still in persistence
01:10in terms of my background. There was a lot of moral policing that I faced growing up, all of it
01:17just pushed me harder to achieve my dreams and then coming here in Mumbai and getting myself
01:22trained and training my walk, my talk and everything. Yeah, it's been a quite a learning experience.
01:34Oh, I still remember my first day in Pajan and the makeup that I put up and I went to all of
01:38them and they were like what have you done to your face because I didn't know how to do, how to
01:43put on makeup but I think beauty comes from within when you carry yourself with compassion
01:49and confidence and that's what's shining. I think in three of us, we all have been carrying ourselves
01:54with a lot of confidence and a lot of grace irrespective of how we are putting our makeup.
01:59On the day 30, I remember I was absolutely perfect with my makeup and everything. So, it's not a
02:04challenge unless it's you pushing for your dream.
02:13Well, for me, I'm a behind the camera girl. I was working in a PCR room and now it's like a 360
02:20degree change for me but what I've realised in past few days is that I have a lot of love for
02:25audience and whether it was for I was working behind the camera, I was working for that love
02:31of audience and now that I'm working in front of it, I still want to go on to chase that love for
02:36audience. I want to step my feet into acting but before that, I want to learn. I want to learn
02:42so that I'll be worthy of any character in any movie.
02:50Oh, it has to be Imtiaz Halisa. I have been big fan of his work both in Tamasha and Rockstar.
02:57All the movies that have changed me on a deeper level
03:01but I would as I said I would be really want to be worthy of trying to get a work with him.
03:12For me, my favourite actor is Ranbir Kapoor sir but I don't know who I see myself working
03:20with going further but if I do get an opportunity, I would love to play a character with him.
03:27For me, I think Femina Miss India has always been about women who are leading by example.
03:35So, we might not have the we might not have a place or international space where we want to
03:40represent ourselves but I think this ground that we have got is worth like everything
03:46that we have gone through out of like 2,000 women auditioning from across the India and
03:51being the three being part of the trio and wearing this crown on our head I think that's
03:58that's more than enough there is a lot of gratitude in my head that I'm wearing this crown.
04:08Similar to what Ayushi said I think it's not just about an added responsibility, it's a
04:13responsibility of every citizen to give back to the society in whatever way they can that it could
04:18be as simple as you know using not using a plastic bag and going for a jute bag.
04:26I think we all can do a lot on an individual level and that together can impact the
04:31world in a big way apart from that my a cause that is really close to my heart is that of women
04:37empowerment and this year at 16th Femina Miss India we had an opportunity to raise funds for
04:43women in rural areas for their training and skilling so that they can make life for themselves
04:48and not just three of us all 30 of us have collectively
04:53raised 46 lakh rupees for women and we are very proud of that that we're going to use that fund.
05:03I think to the people of India or rather to all the all the people watching us I think
05:09one thing I would like to say is believe in yourself and believe in your dreams.
05:14If you have a dream in your head it's there for a reason,
05:18go after it and go after it with all your passion and power.
