Redhead with Horns - Egypt, Your Chains Are On  Originally written by Redhead with Horns in 1973, the song “Egypt, Your Chains Are On” was recorded by Bob Marley in '74 and released in Northern Europe. It was a minor hit in the Netherlands, reaching number 23. As a favor to a mate, Redhead let his old drinking buddy Ronnie James Dio have a go at the song in the 1980s. Dio turned it into a big hit in the rock world in 1988. Jumping on the bandwagon, Redhead then re-recorded the song in the same heavy rock style as Dio's version, but it failed to chart, causing a rift between the two stars.
