00:01Malaysia will host ASEAN next year.
00:05This is the best opportunity for us to test the potential of the ASEAN Community,
00:10which is called the ASEAN Community Potential 2045.
00:14We are committed to making ASEAN 7 more sustainable,
00:20creative, and inclusive.
00:23We are committed to the principle of joint approach,
00:26development agenda,
00:29and move development in the border areas.
00:34This includes our efforts to improve development in the north of Malaya,
00:40with South Siam,
00:42Johor, Singapore,
00:44in addition to events involving ASEAN partners.
00:49ASEAN is now being tested
00:52as a field of competition,
00:56avoiding competition in major powers,
01:00and we can establish a clear framework
01:05in the Five-Point Consensus on the Myanmar issue,
01:09and also free to solve the problem of the South China Sea
01:14in a frugal and lenient manner.
01:19What is interesting, as I said in the Parliament last week,
01:24is the increase in confidence in Malaysia
01:28for the first time in ASEAN,
01:30which is to host the ASEAN Summit,
01:33the GCC Arab countries,
01:35and China for the first time.
01:39To support these efforts,
01:43there are some of our commitments.
01:47Dozens of high-ranking meetings,
01:51hundreds of meetings of right-wing ministers and officials,
01:57all the gifts given
02:01must be from the hands of the locals,
02:06and nothing else.
02:10And maybe among them is the hat worn by the Ambassador.
