00:14So, I am Gareth here from WhatCulture Wrestling and here are 10 epic finishers wrestlers must

00:19bring back.

00:2010. The Brain Buster – Sami Zayn

00:23After years of never honestly feeling like a guy WWE would really embrace near the top of the card,

00:28the much-loved underdog known as Sami Zayn finally became an undeniable main event babyface star in

00:342023. And he did it all without ever dropping a single heel's head on top of the turnbuckle,

00:40with an almighty BRAIN BUSTER!

00:44Zayn's hallouba kick is undoubtedly one of the most simple yet effective finishers

00:48on the WWE product at this current moment in time.

00:51So why bring back a weapon as potentially dangerous and difficult to execute as a

00:56certain El Generico's top rope Brain Buster then? Because on top of being a cute nod to

01:01Zayn's days outside of the biggest promotion on the planet, this extravagant finisher simply

01:05looks cool as hell. Why not throw in a few orange crushes in the coming years too?

01:119. The Dominator – Bobby Lashley

01:13Back when Bobby Lashley first burst onto the WWE scene in 2005, The Dominator used that very

01:20move to obliterate the vast majority of stars who dared to step inside the squared circle with him.

01:25However, when the powerhouse eventually made his sensational return to sports entertainment

01:30ten years after his last WWE appearance, this explosive power finisher suddenly appeared to

01:35have been replaced, first by a stalling suplex and then a Yokozuna cutter. Lashley would actually

01:41notably retain his body-breaking spear from that initial WWE run during his second stint with the

01:46company, but the titanic figure would also embrace a new, merciless hurtlock full Nelson, as he

01:52eventually bullied his way to the WWE Championship. By smashing the likes of Matt Riddle and Kofi

01:57Kingston with it over the last few years, you'll struggle to find anyone who wouldn't welcome the

02:02idea of Lashley properly reinstating the finisher as one of his go-to weapons of mass destruction.

02:088. The 630 Splash – Ricochet

02:11Admittedly, executing a double frontflip before crashing back first onto your opponent below

02:16can't be the easiest move in the world to pull off night after night. However,

02:20since Ricochet has traded the epic 630 for a slightly more common shooting star press,

02:25the ridiculously athletic and talented high-flyer hasn't quite electrified the masses in the way he

02:30did during those staggering NXT and early main roster days. According to the one and only himself,

02:37he simply hasn't had the need to use it, with one of his last real successful high-profile 630s

02:43coming during his winning display in the Smackdown World Cup Finals in December 2022. He also failed

02:49to connect with one in his Summerslam loss against Logan Paul this year. Ricochet doesn't

02:54need to be throwing out this insane double senton at every single house show and Raw taping he pops

02:59up on, but getting to see it more than once or twice a year would definitely help make the

03:04former Intercontinental Champion feel like more of a must-see attraction again.

03:187. Spiral Tap AJ Styles

03:21With AJ Styles now being well into his 40s, you can't exactly blame the former WWE Champion for

03:26not taking to the sky and risking it all by throwing out a wicked spiral tap every time

03:31he shows up on Smackdown. It would still be pretty incredible to see Styles dust that former

03:37out-of-this-world corkscrew senton off on the WWE stage, even if it was just for one night only.

03:43The Phenomenal One himself openly admitted a few years back that there's a good chance he'd

03:47hurt himself if he went to twist his body inside-out with this one-time match ender at

03:52this stage in his life. However, if anyone can pull off this absurd spinning top rope attack

03:57safely at 46 years young, surely it's the same bloke who has been stunning crowds for two decades

04:03straight with his innovative manoeuvres. 6. The Miz of Oz

04:08WWE's Awesome One has been occasionally putting away his opponents with a skull-crushing finale

04:13for a whopping 14 years. What's old could very much become new if he finally decided to freshen

04:20up an act that hasn't exactly evolved all that much over the last decade or so. Before making

04:25the jump up to the main roster, Mike Mizanin actually used a rather emphatic swinging DDT

04:30of sorts in OVW, and it's fantastic name alone, The Miz of Oz, is enough to justify bringing it

04:37back to the Sports Entertainment Party after all this time. But it's a no-nonsense and somewhat

04:43believable way of bringing a bout to an end, and it's about time the A-lister offered an

04:47alternative to his increasingly stale Full Nelson facebuster. 5. The Single-Knee Facebreaker

04:54Sean Spears Jumping all the way back to 2015,

04:57a then-Ty Dillinger debuted a sickening single-knee facebreaker match winner to defeat

05:02Solomon Crowe, aka Impact Wrestling's Sami Callihan, on the August 12th edition of the

05:08Black and Gold show. However, this 10-out-of-10 sudden knockout blow was then disappointingly

05:13replaced by his tiebreaker Fisherman's Carry Netbreaker by 2016. So if the veteran is set

05:19to call time on his 20-year career in the business in the not-too-distant future,

05:23why not go out with a few of his old crowd-popping knees to the face?

05:274. The Prince's Throne Finn Balor

05:30With the Prince currently possessing a delicious Coup de Grace and devastating

05:341916 in his vicious arsenal, if he does feel like adding another unexpected layer to his

05:40already effective offensive game, then perhaps the Judgment Day menace should dip into his past,

05:45and pull out a few Prince's thrones as the villainous group look to continue their

05:50Monday night dominance. The former Universal Champion went by the name of Prince Devitt in

05:55New Japan Pro Wrestling, and could often rely on his Fireman's Carry Double Knee Gut Buster to get

06:00the job done in the ring. It's time for this Prince to bring his throne to WWE, baby.

06:063. The Brock Lock Brock Lesnar

06:08The Beast Incarnate may already boast one of the most brutal submission locks in the game in his

06:13terrifying Kaimura, but there's really nothing quite like the visual of this monster hoisting

06:18a helpless victim up into the air by their slowly crumbling leg. The former WWE and UFC Champion

06:24hasn't bullied a rival in between the ropes with that hilariously cruel submission for over two

06:29decades, with the likes of Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit and Shannon Moore all being violently

06:34bent in half by the next big thing during his first run with the company all those years ago.

06:39Could you imagine seeing someone like Logan Paul or Ricochet being effortlessly yanked up

06:43into the sky and hung over the behemoth's neck like a piece of defenceless meat? Simply put,

06:49the long-awaited return of the Brock Lock would definitely be a welcome detour away

06:53from Suplex City and Snapping Arms. 2. The Ozone, Randy Orton

06:58When slash if Randy Orton does eventually make a return to in-ring action, so with this legend

07:03likely not wanting to risk doing any more damage to an already battered back, Orton will likely

07:08need to think of another way he can end a match instead of always relying on his classic RKO.

07:14And that's where the Ozone comes in. When the eventual Evolution member first showed up on the

07:19roster 20 years ago, this future WWE champion wasn't popping up with a violent cutter out of

07:24nowhere. The youngster preferred to throw his leg over his adversary's neck, grab their closest arm

07:29and then horrifically rotate forwards. This overdrive-swinging netbreaker was pretty successful

07:34during those early days too. Again, Orton doesn't need to retire his iconic RKO completely should

07:40he finally make his long-awaited WWE comeback in the next few months, but it wouldn't be the worst

07:45idea to chuck in a few Ozones here and there to preserve that surgically repaired back.

07:51The Four-Leg Clover, Becky Lynch With Becky Lynch already proving that

07:54she's willing to introduce new ways to best her rivals in between the ropes, adding the manhandle

08:00slam to her arsenal and using that power move to help her win title gold on a number of occasions

08:05over the last two years, the man is likely always thinking of more fresh attacks she can catch her

08:10enemies off-guard with going forward. And the last thing those rivals would ever expect is for

08:15the one-time last kicker to re-debut an old faithful submission from her developmental days.

08:21Just before she started snapping arms with her signature disarm-her-Fujiwara armbar on the

08:26black and gold brand, Lynch actually opted for an intense inverted figure-four leg lock. Big time

08:32Becks even managed to tap out her fellow horsewoman Bayley with this nasty-looking four-leg

08:37clover. If a four-leg clover boasting version of the man came around, no limb would be safe.
