Former One Direction star Liam Payne dies after falling from balcony in Argentina

Liam Payne, a core member of the chart-topping British boy band One Direction, was reported by staff at the hotel to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

00:31manager. He warned them of a guest who may have been under the influence of drugs and

00:39Payne had previously been vocal about his battle with alcoholism and posted a video

00:43in July last year saying he had been sober for six months after receiving treatment.

00:50The 31-year-old was one of the five members of One Direction who formed during the British

00:54singing competition The X Factor in 2010 after they had all auditioned individually.
