Hi, Amy.
00:01
Hi, how are you?
00:02
I'm well.
00:03
I'm very well, thank you.
00:04
Congratulations on the film.
00:06
I'll level with you.
00:07
I've got an eight-week-old baby at home.
00:08
This is the most tired I've ever been at London Film Festival.
00:09
Ever.
00:10
Ever.
00:11
I'm sure.
00:12
Is this a film for me?
00:13
A film for my other half?
00:14
Both.
00:15
Or a film for both of us?
00:16
Both.
00:17
I think you'll find yourself in it and hopefully end up laughing and having some good conversations
00:22
around it.
00:23
As a mother in the creative industry, has it been a cathartic experience for you, a particularly
00:29
enjoyable one, to be able to play this kind of character and tell this kind of story?
00:32
Yeah.
00:33
It's definitely cathartic.
00:34
It's funny.
00:35
I used that word the other night and that a lot of my roles become cathartic in a way
00:39
to work through something, but this was definitely cathartic.
00:42
This idea of being unfiltered, raw, vulnerable, just feral, really.
00:47
And finally, I should ask, have you got any advice for me?
00:52
Enjoy it.
00:53
Even in the exhaustion, just enjoy it.
00:55
I have a 14-year-old and all of the hard times become memories and you just would give
01:00
anything to go back and read that story for the 20th time when you get there.
01:05
You're in the real trenches right now.
01:07
I'm in it.
01:08
Yeah, I'm in the college trenches right now.
01:09
But, oh gosh.
01:10
All of it, that's all it is.
01:12
Everything's a stage, you know?
01:14
So it's just for a moment and then it passes.
01:16
So just enjoy the moment, even if it's in exhaustion, if you can find those moments.
01:20
Well, I will do.
01:21
Thank you very much for your advice.
01:22
Congratulations.
01:25
Boy or girl?
01:26
A little boy.
