01:15This is a story from a long long time ago

01:19in Nottingham, England

01:21when Prince Richard ruled the country.

01:24His younger brother, Prince John was a wicked prince

01:29who took care of the state

01:31while the King was away for wars.

01:35Prince John was unkind to common people of Nottingham

01:40and had no consideration for the poor.

01:46Under his charge, the rich man

01:49was forced to sell his property to the poor.

01:52As a result of his charge, the rich became richer

02:00while the poor became poorer.

02:08The poor had no saviour to save them

02:11other than Robin Hood

02:14or the Hooded Thief as he was popularly known.

02:17Robin Hood had a trusted companion called Little John.

02:48Robin Hood would rob the rich merchants

02:59and the Prince's caravans that carried the huge taxes

03:03collected from the poor

03:05as they crossed the Sherwood Forest

03:08which was the home of Robin Hood

03:11on the way to the Prince's treasury.

03:18And he would distribute the loot amongst the poor.

03:23His generosity earned him the name

03:26Prince of Thieves amongst the common people

03:31and also many rewards that were announced by the Sheriff

03:36for his capture.

03:44But this was not the end of the story.

03:47The Prince did not stop Robin from doing his good deeds.

03:56One day, when Robin Hood and his friends

04:00had robbed the Prince's caravan again

04:03the Prince called the Sheriff of Nottingham to the palace.

04:08This is the last time Robin Hood has humiliated my men and me, Sheriff.

04:15What are your troops doing?

04:16Why haven't they caught that thief as yet?

04:19We are doing everything, your Highness.

04:22I assure you, we will have him soon.

04:42The Sheriff made a new plan with his men.

06:24Soon, it was Robin Hood's turn to shoot the arrows.

06:28He took the first shot at the board and hit bull's eye.

06:33The crowd cheered for this unknown archer.

06:37Then he took another arrow and shot it again.

06:44This one too hit bull's eye.

06:47The crowd cheered louder.

06:50The cheering caught the Sheriff's attention

06:53and he turned to see what the matter was.

06:58By now, Robin had drawn his third arrow and took a shot.

07:05It too hit the bull's eye.

07:09When the fourth arrow also did the same

07:13the Sheriff realised something.

07:16That is no stranger.

07:18That is Robin Hood.

07:21No one can shoot four arrows in a row like that.

07:25Grab him, men!

07:34The whole crowd was stunned.

07:37The whole crowd broke into a frenzy

07:40as the Sheriff's men arrested Robin Hood.

07:48Off with his head!

07:54But little John moved like a lightning flash

07:58and grabbed the Prince and put a knife to his throat.

08:07Release him immediately!

08:09The Sheriff's men had no choice except to let go of Robin Hood.

08:17The Prince of Thieves and his friends

08:19hollered and made their way out of the archery field

08:23but not before Robin Hood climbed the audience tower

08:27and stole a kiss from the Maiden Marianth.

08:36Robin Hood and his friends got together and celebrated.

08:41You were right, Robin Hood.

08:43Today was a lot of fun.

08:46The Sheriff had this coming.

08:49I am sure you surprised Maiden Marianth too.
