The Cursed Mirror

Long ago, in a quiet village nestled between dark forests, there existed a mysterious mirror rumored to hold unspeakable power. The townsfolk whispered that this mirror could reflect not only one’s appearance but also the deepest, darkest parts of their soul. The legend claimed that if someone gazed into it too long, the mirror would curse them, dragging their reflection into a twisted reality from which escape was nearly impossible.

The mirror was crafted centuries ago by a sorcerer who dabbled in forbidden magic. It was said he poured his hatred, regrets, and nightmares into the glass, creating a portal between two worlds: one of light and another of endless shadows. After the sorcerer's death, the cursed mirror passed from owner to owner, leaving a trail of madness and tragedy in its wake. Eventually, it found its way to an abandoned mansion at the edge of the village, where it was forgotten... for a time.
