00:07And today, I went to Dollar Tree. Well, not today. A few days ago I went to Dollar Tree

00:12and I picked up these Hostess Cupcakes Vanilla.

00:15Now, when I was young, I don't remember them ever being vanilla.

00:19I remember cupcakes. I remember Hostess. I remember them being chocolate.

00:24I remember maybe they had a few limited editions, but I don't remember vanilla at all.

00:30So when I saw this at Dollar Tree, and yes, that's the price of Dollar Tree, $3 for these.

00:36And you only get six in here, but I'm going to see how big they are. Are they worth it for $3?

00:42But I know that I went to some other stores and I saw them for like $4 or $5.

00:47So Dollar Tree would be best if they're good. So I'll be trying that in a minute.

00:52Now, right here it says 300 calories, you know, and the fat is 16%. The trans fat is 21%.

00:59The fiber is zero. Sugar, 32%. There's your sugar rush for the afternoon.

01:05Potassium, 2. Calcium, 4. Iron, 3.

01:09Main ingredient, sugar. Enriched wheat flour. Vegetable. Vegetable oil is pretty much in everything now.

01:16Chips in everything. It's amazing. I see that everywhere now.

01:20Wheat starch, soy, some words like corn starch, and some words I can't pronounce.

01:25Like some, it says calcium carbonated acid. May contain peanuts and tree nuts.

01:31So obviously it may contain, it's not made in a gluten free, or gluten free or peanut free factory it looks like.

01:38So let's, let's check this out.

01:42Oh, I don't like that. See, I would prefer them to be individual packs.

01:47Because that, it just kind of makes me need to eat two of them, and I don't really want to eat two of them.

01:54That actually kind of, I don't know.

01:57Well, let's see.

02:12It smells like vanilla.

02:20See, when I open up stuff like this, I want it becoming gushing out.

02:24Look at that. Look at how much they give you.

02:27Hardly nothing at all.

02:32I don't really like the smell. The more I smell it, I don't like the smell.

02:42It tastes like frosted...

02:50Like you know how you're frosting from a cake?

02:53This is what it tastes like. It literally tastes like frosting from a cake.

03:06But it kind of has a little bit of an aftertaste.

03:09It kind of has a little bit of an aftertaste.

03:23Yeah, the aftertaste is kicking in.

03:26So let's see if it's consistent though.

03:31Because they gave me two, I might as well eat two in a pack.

03:36Geez, hard to get them out.

03:38Let's see if this one has more in it.

03:41Oh, actually, look. This actually has a little bit more in it.

03:45See, there's no consistency.

03:47To me, have the same amount in every single one that you have in here.

03:53Don't have one have more, another one have less.

03:56One tastes better than the other.

03:58Let the consistency be.

04:00But right now, it just simply tastes like frosting from a cake.

04:04That's it. Frosting from a cake. And I like frosting from the cake.

04:07I remember when I was a kid, I used to lick the bowl.

04:21Actually, this one tastes better than the other one.

04:25So they're not consistent.

04:30Oh, really?

04:32Huh.

04:38That one tasted way better than the first one I had.

04:42Maybe because my body got used to it.

04:45But as you can see, the second one actually had more frosting.

04:48So that makes a huge difference in these.

04:51So they're obviously not consistent.

04:53It's kind of like eating chips. They're not consistent.

04:58I have a tough time rating this.

05:00Because basically, it's just frosting on a little cake.

05:03It's really nothing super special, but it is good.

05:09I'll give it a 6. I'll give it a 6 out of 10.

05:11It's not fantastic.

05:13It's just frosting from a cake.

05:15I can go and buy frosting and just eat frosting.

05:17And that's exactly what this would be.

05:19And I can go and get frosting myself and put it on something else.

05:22So it's...

05:24Yeah, I give it a 6.

05:266 out of 10. Maybe a 6.5 out of 10.

05:29Not fantastic.

05:31It's simple. It's easy.

05:33Should be cheaper than $3 too, to be quite honest with you.

05:36Should be $2, especially at Dollar Tree.

05:39But if you really want these, they are good.

05:44But make sure you go to Dollar Tree to get them because it would be cheaper there.

05:47Walmart I saw them for $4.

05:49Somewhere else I saw them for $5.

05:51And I think somewhere else I saw them for $6.

05:53And I was like, really?

05:55These were actually made for Dollar Tree.

05:59So maybe I didn't see the vanilla ones anywhere else except Dollar Tree.

06:03That I don't know.

06:05But I've seen Hostess and I know that they're fairly cheap.

06:08If you buy an individual one, they're like $1.

06:11But still.

06:13So I guess it's a fun pack amusement.

06:16Still, a 6.5 out of 10.

06:19I'm going to give it a little bit more.

06:216.5 out of 10, everyone, because that's how I just feel about it.

06:28So obviously I guess I did like it.
