00:10We ask Allah عزوجل teach us what benefit us, benefit us from what He taught us and increase us in knowledge.
00:16My dear, beloved, respected brothers and sisters, I ask Allah عزوجل to protect you from any harm.
00:22الحمد لله رب العالمين now we are or we have taken few steps and learned about few tools that will ان شاء الله تعالى make us improve our salah and reach khushu'a بإذن الله.
00:47We try to have our heart present, we are trying to understand what we are saying, we introduce the feeling of raja'a, of hope, we introduce the feeling of fear, of hayba and yesterday we spoke about the feeling of love.
01:01The feeling of love, the love of Allah عزوجل and I am standing before the one I love the most.
01:08So someone might say, ya shaykh alhamdulillah I have all these and I tried them yesterday in my salah but I still get distracted, I still get distracted a lot.
01:17The minute I say Allahu Akbar, I start thinking about the food, the drink, I start thinking about work, about the children, I start thinking about my problems, where did I put my keys, where did I put my phone, my computer, my studies, my homework, my exams.
01:34Every thought comes to my mind when I say Allahu Akbar.
01:39As a matter of fact, Imam Abu Hanifa, alhamdulillah, one time a man came to him and he was very sad, the man.
01:45He said, ya imam I put all my savings somewhere and I completely forgot where I put them, can you help me?
01:51So the imam was surprised, what does that have to do with me?
01:54I answered questions about fiqh, but I don't know where would you put your money, but I advised him anyway.
02:00He said, go and get up in the middle of the night and pray two rak'ah and after you finish your salah, beg Allah عزوجل, this is the best time to ask Allah, ask Allah to help you find your money.
02:09So the man went and the next day he came with a big smile on his face.
02:13So Imam Abu Hanifa told him, what happened?
02:15He said, alhamdulillah shazakallah khair ya imam, I found the money.
02:19He said, what did you do?
02:21He said, I took my advice, in the middle of the night I got up, Allahu Akbar, the minute I said Allahu Akbar, I remembered where I put the money.
02:28I left the salah and I went and picked up the money, subhanallah.
02:31So Imam Abu Hanifa said, I knew that the shaytan would not let you perform such a noble ibadah, he's going to remind you where you put the money.
02:39So this happens to all of us, we get distracted.
02:42But what could encourage me to cut down this distraction?
02:47It is by knowing that we only get rewarded for what we concentrate.
02:53We will only get rewarded for the part that we concentrated on, subhanallah.
02:59Now, does that mean that is my salah invalid if I get distracted?
03:03No, it is not invalid.
03:05But Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said,
03:22He said, a servant may pray and only be credited for one tenth, or one ninth, or one eighth, or one seventh, or one sixth of the salah, or one fifth, or one fourth, or one third, or half of the salah.
03:35Subhanallah.
03:36So, we will only be, or the credit we get from the salah is for the part that we concentrated on.
03:44What is the dalil?
03:45Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, and the hadith is in Abu Dawood,
