Belgium's King Philippe visits France to celebrate shared views on Europe

The heads of state of Belgium and France are celebrating their countries' deep ties as two of the founder members of the EU.

00:06a three-day state visit of the Belgian King Philip and Queen Mathilde. The visit came

00:12after an invitation from President Emmanuel Macron. The Belgian royals attended the state

00:17dinner organized by the French President at the Elysee Palace.

00:30Belgium and France share a long common history and about 620 kilometers of borders. The visit

00:50will take the royals to Chantilly and Lille before ending on Wednesday.
