00:00Hello again. Many of us will finally see some rain during the coming week, with northern
00:05areas first seeing the rain and showers on Monday, whereas further south it should stay
00:09dry, mostly sunny and still fairly warm across parts of the west. The bigger picture shows
00:14this area of low pressure drifting southwards through Monday and Tuesday, bringing an increased
00:18chance of showers more widely by the time we get through to the middle part of the week.
00:23But after a fine end to the day, we should see mostly clear skies across many parts overnight
00:27tonight, some cloud increasing from the North Sea across more central regions, but for many
00:33temperatures getting down close to freezing, with a frost expected in more rural parts
00:37of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Cloudier across northern Scotland though, and we will
00:42see outbreaks of rain arriving across the far north-west around dawn, and this will
00:46mark the change to more unsettled conditions this week. Outbreaks of rain spreading southwards
00:51across Scotland through the morning, fringing into Northern Ireland and parts of the far
00:55north of England through the afternoon. Further south, staying dry though, and plenty of sunshine
00:59once again for the vast majority of us, and feeling still quite warm where we've got shelter
01:04from that north-eastly breeze. Into Monday evening though, and I think it will still
01:10stay dry with some sunshine across many southern regions, whereas further north, cloudier skies
01:15and showers spreading their way southwards, with a few clear spells and showers following
01:19on to north-western parts of Scotland. So we will see pressure lowering this week, turning
01:24gradually less settled with time, an increasing chance of rain or showers for some of us,
01:28and it will also become a good deal cooler as we go towards the end of the week.
