00:00Hello there, we've got some showers in the forecast to end this week, but a few
00:04sunny spells around too. Let's take a look at the picture this afternoon then.
00:08So quite a lot of cloud around on Sunday, a few brighter breaks here and there and
00:13we will see some showers develop as we head through this afternoon. The showers
00:17will be most frequent across the south and they could be quite heavy in parts
00:21of the southwest in particular. So parts of southwest England and southern Wales
00:25we could see a few rumbles of thunder this afternoon and possibly even some
00:29hail. Through this evening the showers continuing for a time but gradually
00:33fading away tonight. However we do continue to see some showers pour in
00:37across Scotland and some coastal areas as well. Tonight it will be quite chilly
00:41particularly in the rural spots we could even see a local touch of grass frost by
00:44Monday morning. Come Monday morning some brightness in the south but quite a
00:48cloudy start for many and that cloud spreads across the whole country as we
00:52head through the day. So limited amounts of brightness we could see a few sunny
00:56spells in the southeast but the main theme of the weather on Monday will be
00:59the showers. Quite widespread and quite heavy at times as well particularly in
01:03Scotland where we could see some more thunderstorms. For the start of the new
01:07week then low pressure stays in charge we'll continue to see showers throughout
01:10Monday and Tuesday. Heading towards the back holiday weekend it looks like
01:14things could settle down a little perhaps some showers on the Thursday but
01:18high pressure taking charge to end the week. Keep up to date with the latest on
01:22our social media and YouTube channels. Take care.
