Jurgen Klopp announces new Red Bull role

Jurgen Klopp says that he is really looking forward to his new job as the global head of soccer for Red Bull.

00:00Some of you might have heard it already, some of you won't.

00:14From 1 January 2025 I will be head of global soccer of Red Bull and I'm really looking

00:20forward to that.

00:21A few months ago I said I don't see myself on the sidelines anymore and that's still

00:26the case but I still love football and I still love working and Red Bull gives me the perfect

00:31platform for that.

00:33I want to share my experience which I collected over the years and we all know there are much

00:38more successful managers out there but in my career I fought for promotion, I fought

00:45against relegation, I fought for titles and I fought for trophies.

00:49Sometimes we failed, sometimes we succeeded and dealing with that is not easy but it's

00:54possible.

00:56And I want to learn again because when you are in the job and you have to play every

01:00three days you barely have time for that and now I have time and I have the opportunity

01:07and I want to see and feel and figure out what is useful for football.

01:13So developing football a little bit as well.

01:18I said really looking forward to it but now I go back on holiday.
