A soldier was accidentally shot in the face during live-fire exercises at Ching Chuan Kang Air Base in central Taiwan. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead. The defense ministry has pledged to investigate the incident.

00:22After the incident, the Air Force immediately transferred the soldier to the hospital for emergency treatment.

00:31But as far as we know, he was unfortunately killed.
