00:00In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
00:15By those winds sent forth in gusts, And the winds that blow violently,
00:28And by the winds that spread clouds, And those angels who bring criterion,
00:45And those angels who deliver a message, As justification or warning.
00:58Indeed what you are promised is to occur.
01:05So when the stars are obliterated,
01:12And when the heaven is opened,
01:17And when the mountains are blown away,
01:23And when the Messenger's time has come,
01:29For what day was it postponed?
01:34For the Day of Judgment.
01:41And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgment?
01:45Woe that Day to the deniers.
01:54Did We not destroy the former peoples?
02:02Then We will follow them with the later ones.
02:11Thus do We deal with the criminals.
02:19Woe that Day to the deniers.
02:29Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?
02:41And We placed it in a firm lodging,
02:50To a known extent.
02:58And We determined it, and excellent are We to determine.
03:08Woe that Day to the deniers.
03:17Did We not make the earth a container?
03:24Of the living and the dead.
03:31And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains,
03:36And have given you to drink sweet water.

03:51Woe that Day to the deniers.
04:01Go forth to that which you used to deny.
04:17Proceed to a shadow of smoke having three columns,
04:29But having no cool shade, and a veiling not against the flame.
04:39Indeed, it throws sparks as huge as a fortress,
04:48As if they were yellowish black camels.
04:57Woe that Day to the deniers.
05:08This is a Day they will not speak,
05:16Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.
05:26Woe that Day to the deniers.
05:36This is the Day of Judgment.
05:46We will have assembled you and the former peoples.
05:49So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.
06:01Woe that Day to the deniers.
06:11Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs,
06:24And fruits from whatever they desire.
06:34Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.
06:49Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good.
06:59Woe that Day to the deniers.
07:09Eat and enjoy yourselves a little. Indeed, you are criminals.
07:23Woe that Day to the deniers.
07:34And when it is said to them, Bow in prayer, they do not bow.
07:46Woe that Day to the deniers.
07:56Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
