00:14Parts of the city of Sigalot, between Israel and the Hezbollah group in Lebanon,
00:18were burned down more than a year ago due to the war in Gaza.
00:22Yesterday, the tension increased.
00:25A fire and explosion broke out in some parts of Lebanon.
00:30This includes the suburbs on the Lebanese side of Beirut.
00:34Yesterday, Israel also released a video of the airstrikes
00:37against which the Hezbollah group fired weapons in some parts of Lebanon.
00:42According to the Israeli military,
00:44more than 1,000 Hezbollah targets were bombed in southern Lebanon and Bika'a Valley.

01:24More than 1,000 were killed.
01:26To this day, Israel and Hezbollah's airstrikes continue.
01:31Different countries have called for the escalation of tensions.
01:35The escalation is extremely dangerous and worrying.
01:39I can say that we are almost in a full-fledged war.
01:44At the moment, the DFA is implementing Alert Level 3 or Voluntary Repatriation
01:49for more than 11,000 Filipinos in Lebanon.
01:52According to the DFA, more than 1,000 Filipinos have already asked the government for help to go home.
01:57But many Filipinos still don't want to leave.
02:00The government is asking the Filipino community in Lebanon if they need mass repatriation.
02:06We are processing more than 1,000 requests for voluntary repatriation.
02:10That's one out of ten so far.
02:13We are calling on the Filipinos to call their own relatives and force them or us to go home.
02:23Not only to Filipinos abroad but also to Filipinos in the country.
02:27The chaos in the Middle East is having an effect,
02:29particularly on the control of inflation or the rapid price of goods.
02:33Our biggest challenge really is external headwinds.
02:36One would be the war in the Middle East.
02:39We don't want that to go out of hand and possibly oil price increases, which we have no control over.
02:46For GMA Integrated News, I'm Ivan Meirinangin, Saksi.
02:56A fireball hit the back of a seaside town in Lebanon following the Israeli airstrike.
03:02According to the Lebanese Health Minister,
03:05569 were injured and almost 2,000 were wounded since the Israeli airstrikes began on Monday.
03:13Israel has expanded its bombing areas.
03:16In this airstrike, the missile launcher directed at Tel Aviv was the target.
03:21The Israelis were able to return from the northern part of Israel due to tensions at the border for almost a year
03:28since the Hezbollah gave support to the Palestinians in the war in Gaza.
03:34The Hezbollah also continued the return of the rocket.
03:40A dashcam captured a vehicle of the rocket strike on a highway in Israel.
03:48According to the Israeli Army, four rockets were dropped on a town in northern Israel.
03:53The Hezbollah said they targeted the headquarters of the Mossad spy agency of Israel in Tel Aviv,
03:59which they used to spy on the back of the explosions of their group's pagers.
04:04It was not signed or denied by Israel.
04:12A warning siren went off in Tel Aviv but there was no sign of it.
04:17The missile that was directed at the town was intercepted.
04:21Pope Francis joined the call to ease tensions.
04:25The situation is not acceptable and the international community should do everything to stop this.
04:32According to the GFA, the Philippines should continue to prepare for the need of mass repatriation to Lebanon.
04:39We are happy because there is no... Thank God, it's a big thank you to God.
04:44There are no Filipinos who were injured in the successive waves of the attack of the Hezbollah in Lebanon,
04:52including this one neighborhood in southern Beirut called Hezbollah Enclave.
04:59For GMA Integrated News, Joseph Morong is your witness.

06:43The Israeli troops are in Lebanon.
06:46In this video of the Reuters, the Israeli tanks were seen at the border of the two countries.
06:53In Israel, the warning sirens were again sounded
06:56because of the loss of the Hezbollah missiles in the northern part of Israel.
07:01In the next few days, 15 countries are expected to return to the OFWs
07:06that are repatriating from Lebanon.
07:08Again, this is a call for all Filipinos,
07:12not only OFWs but for all Filipinos in Lebanon
07:18to hit the call of government for voluntary repatriation.
07:21Some OFWs in Lebanon are emotional
07:24because they asked for help to return to the Philippines.
07:27According to one OFW,
07:29she has been waiting for a month but there is still no reason given to them.
07:34Their papers are under evaluation because they are undocumented.
07:38How can we update the release of the evaluation?
07:41There is no office, the immigration office is closed.
07:45When will they move if there are people dying here?
07:50The Philippine embassy in Lebanon has not yet announced anything about this.
07:53For GMA Integrated News, Emil Sumangil is your witness.
07:59According to the DFA, if an undocumented worker wants to be repatriated,
08:03it is not something that can be released to the country easily.
08:06The government has been calling for voluntary repatriation in Lebanon for a long time.
08:22A siren sounded following the explosion that hit the Tel Aviv residents in Israel last night.
08:28Missiles that were fired in the air followed.
08:35The air defense system of Israel was damaged.
08:41Rockets were fired at the West Bank as well.
08:46Sirens were sounded until Jerusalem.
08:52While the rockets seemed to be raining,
08:56people were hiding.
08:58Some of them hid in tunnels and shops.
09:02Missiles aimed at Israel were also seen in the Jordan Strip.
09:06The missiles came from Iran.
09:08According to the state news agency of Iran,
09:11three Israeli military bases were targeted.
09:17This is due to the killing of the leaders of the allied groups of Iran,
09:22including the veteran leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.
09:26He was also targeted by Iran in their attack on Israel in Lebanon,
09:31where Hezbollah is based,
09:33as well as in Gaza,
09:35where Israel's target is the Hamas,
09:38which is also an ally of Iran.
09:40According to Israel, more than 180 missiles were fired against their country.
09:46Aside from the air defenses of Israel,
09:48the US Navy also fired interceptors.
09:51According to the Pentagon,
09:53no one was injured in Israel,
09:55but a man was injured in the West Bank.
09:58According to Iran, their action is over,
10:01except if Israel makes another attack.
10:05And if that happens, they will do even more.
10:09Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said,
10:13Iran made a mistake and they will pay for it.
10:17According to the Israeli military,
10:19including the regular infantry and armored units,
10:21in the limited ground operations,
10:23which destroyed the tunnels and other infrastructure of Hezbollah on the border.
10:29A few hours after the missile strikes of Iran,
10:33the air strikes of Israel continued,
10:35where they targeted Hezbollah in the southern suburbs of Beirut in Lebanon.
10:41There were also explosions in the town of Tahrir.
10:44Almost 2,000 were killed
10:46and more than 7,000 were injured in Lebanon
10:49since the tension on the border escalated last year.
10:53There was a riot from the war in Gaza
10:57where more than 40,000 were taken hostage.
11:01The tension in Lebanon was witnessed by Filipinos like Glenda.
11:07Oh my God!
11:11The building was really shaking.
11:14The explosion was really shaking.
11:20You will scream because you will be surprised.
11:23That's why I was going down the building.
11:26I was scared.
11:28According to the Department of Migrant Workers,
11:30more than 100 Filipinos are on the list
11:33to be included in the repatriation
11:36or being sent back to the Philippines from Lebanon.
11:39The problem is that the flights are cancelled
11:41because of the exchange of the air strikes and rockets of Israel and Hezbollah.
11:45The Philippine government plans to issue a chartered flight.
11:49Should the air route be impossible
11:52because they can close the airport in Beirut,
11:55we have an alternative.
11:58Our land route is ready to go to Damascus.
12:01The yacht, yes.
12:03We are also talking about maritime vessels.
12:07For GMA Integrated News,
12:09I am JP Soriano, your witness.
12:17A new explosion in the capital of Lebanon, Beirut,
12:20a few days ago.
12:22The mountain of explosions in different parts of the city became clear.
12:26According to Israel, they made a precise air strike in central Beirut.
12:31According to Reuters and other international media,
12:34a house near the Lebanese parliament was targeted,
12:38the nearest Israeli strike that hit the center of Kabisera.
12:42According to Lebanese authorities,
12:44Shamna was killed.
12:46Missiles also hit the southern suburb of Dahiye,
12:50where the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed last week.
12:55Yesterday, Israel said that eight of its soldiers were injured in the battle of southern Lebanon.
13:02This is the largest since the tension in the borders of the two countries
13:06in the middle of the war in Gaza.
13:08Israeli military evacuated the residents of more than 20 towns in southern Lebanon
13:14while their military operation against Hezbollah continues.
13:18According to the Lebanese Health Ministry,
13:2046 were killed and 85 were injured in the Israeli strike in Lebanon within 24 hours.
13:29Other Lebanese evacuated to neighboring countries in Cyprus and Syria,
13:35as well as in Turkey.
13:37According to the Department of Migrant Workers,
13:39the flight that the Filipinos will take home is still canceled.
13:44It is possible that in the coming weeks,
13:47a chartered flight will also be separated that our government is arranging.
13:51For some Filipinos in Israel,
13:53it seems that the smell of the attack of Hamas returned on October 7 of the previous year
13:59when missiles were fired from the area of Tung Martis.
14:18No Filipinos were injured in the attack.
14:20While we are preparing for the missile attack,
14:24there was a shooting.
14:26So we don't know if it's connected, but it almost happened at the same time.
14:32So our countrymen are alert and some of them are already in their safe rooms.
14:41Israel has already announced that it will pay the price for its missile attack.
14:46The Foreign Minister of Israel,
14:48Persona Nangrata, was declared the UN Secretary General
14:52because it did not condemn the missile attack.
14:56This is what the UN Secretary General said in front of the UN Security Council.
15:01I again strongly condemn yesterday's massive missile attack by Iran on Israel.
15:07This deadly cycle of tit-for-tat violence must stop.
15:12Time is running out.
15:14What happened in Israel was not a defensive action of Iran.
15:19It was a calculated attack on a civilian population.
15:24Israel will not stand by in the face of such aggression.
15:30Iran is stubborn. They don't want war.
15:33Iran said earlier that their action is over as long as they don't become the enemy of Israel.
15:40In the current statement of the President of Iran,
15:43they will retaliate if they are attacked.
15:46The only way to prevent further escalation is clear.
15:50Israel must immediately cease its war on Gaza and its attacks on Lebanon must stop.
15:59For GMA Integrated News, J.P. Soriano, your witness.
16:10The loud siren that followed the explosion
16:15witnessed by the President of Iran, Israel,
16:20with more than 180 ballistic missiles,
16:26as well as the bomb shelters or MAMAD,
16:29our fellow countrymen working there.
16:41This is how Iran reacted to Israel's attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
16:48That is why the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines mentioned
16:52the ground operation of Israel there
16:54when it announced its decision to fight tensions in the Middle East.
16:59The DFA encouraged all parties to avoid fighting violence and action
17:06towards a peaceful solution to the problem.
17:09But the Israeli forces also attacked 20 towns in the eastern part of Lebanon
17:15that were evacuated as soon as possible.
17:18That is the same as their attack on Gaza before it was destroyed by the Israeli Hamas war.
17:24We already have plans in place in various countries that might be affected, including Lebanon.
17:30The DMW are already working very hard to institute their plan
17:36and trying to get arrangements ready for the Filipinos in the area
17:40in case they have to evacuate or be repatriated.
17:46More than 11,000 Filipinos in Lebanon, most of whom are in Beirut.
17:50The center of Bakbakan is in southern Lebanon,
17:53so the Filipinos were already contacted there to go home.
17:56They have already identified where they are
17:58and they have already contacted those whom they can contact in southern Lebanon.
18:03For GMA Integrated News, J.P. Soriano.
18:07For 24 Hours.
