00:07When you look back at it, my whole upbringing was leading me to that point.

00:11I was trying to do something that was going to change everything.

00:15I hadn't really seen this happen where a player goes from straight player to owner exec.

00:42If you look at how much media women's sports gets, less than 5%, and black women are the smallest margin.

00:48As much as we talk about change and change starts with us, there's a large group of people that don't want anything to change.

00:53You know, it's a club. It's a white male boomer club.

00:57That's part of what we need to change.

01:01Someone like Renee having ownership and having a voice in league and team is a voice that was never heard before.

01:07A lot of black people understood that you have to balance being black all the time.

01:12It's incumbent upon us to lean in to the issues that are really important.

01:23That whole narrative of women's sports is boring, women's sports whatever, women's sports ain't it.

01:29It's quickly changing.

01:31We've never had that kind of crowd before.

01:33You really are building it for the next generation.
