Ian Hislop thanks fans for concern after reports he was caught in taxi ride ‘shooting’

After police said there is no evidence his cab was shot at, Ian Hislop has thanked fans for their concern after reports he had been caught in a gun attack while in a taxi – with cops now saying they think the back window of the vehicle shattered due to a “mechanical fault”.
