00:00Rehearsals have actually, we did international rehearsals this time, it was a joke.
00:10But we have been singing for the past month and a half, we've been performing all over
00:15the world, we've been encountering all different kinds of audiences because it's different
00:21everywhere and I think the most exciting thing about it is to come home, we're coming home
00:27to our homeland, Mumbai is the land, you know, the land that has a different kind of sweetness,
00:35a different kind of fragrance, the song that we sing there has its own kind of fragrance
00:40and the song that we sing here has a different kind of fun.
00:44And we're not just preparing for it for a few months or a few days, we spend the whole
00:49year working on these things, how we can make ourselves better because it's for us
00:56not just performing at just another show, this is for us our passion, so what can we bring?
01:10I'm a Gujarati, it is a built-in feature, frankly it's only tiring if you don't enjoy it and I
01:17enjoy it so fully that it doesn't, it's not tiring for me, in fact I will perform for two hours in
01:24the night, next day morning I will wake up at my time, I generally try to wake up, I like to get
01:28about eight hours of sleep so whenever that happens around seven, eight, I wake up in the morning, I
01:33will do my one and a half hour practice, I will go to the gym, I will do my running and cardio and everything
01:40and I will come back, I will have my daily routine things that I have to do, then again I will get
01:46ready for Navratri and come back and sing for two hours and repeat, so frankly this is the regulator,
01:52this is my music, is my regulator, it keeps me balanced, it keeps me excited, it keeps me
02:02in a state of constant personal challenge, how do I get better than myself tomorrow and I think that
02:07is what art is supposed to do.
02:16We try that we try and bring new colours to some pre-existing songs which are so beautiful,
02:22they're so popular, people all know it and that's the beauty of it right, you want to always
02:30be connected with your roots over and over again but we hear so much more music in the world
02:40so we are bringing a new sound along with it, Garba's are also going to be there which are new
02:52Actually last year was my first year in Bombay and the kind of love I received was an
02:59absolute happy surprise, I could not have imagined that I would, I would be literally
03:13so many of my fans would regularly come every day to just stand in the fans bit like fans pavilion
03:21and they would, they would have these little banners
03:32and it's these things, these small things
03:37and everybody has one letter of my name and then they'll cheer with like it's actually a very
03:43cricket stadium vibe you know, you get the love of your fans so I feel so blessed
03:51and I think that's also very humbling for me to be on top of the world yet be guarded by so much love
