The White House spoke with G7 leaders, including foreign ministers from France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, to discuss a coordinated response to Iran's attack on Israel.

00:15Biden's comments came after he and fellow G7 leaders, including foreign ministers from

00:19France, Germany, Italy and the U.K., spoke by phone on Wednesday to discuss coordinating

00:24new sanctions against Iran.

00:26The answer is no, and I think there's things... We'll be discussing with the Israelis what

00:35they're going to do, but all seven of us agree that they have a right to respond, but they

00:42should respond in proportion.

00:44Meanwhile, U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller addressed Israel's move in

00:48barring the U.N. Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, from entering the country, calling

00:53the move unproductive.

00:56Members of the U.N. Security Council held an emergency meeting on Wednesday to discuss

01:00Iran's attack on Israel.

01:03Israel's ambassador to the U.N. said that Guterres' latest statement, calling for de-escalation

01:07in the Middle East conflict, is detached from reality.

01:11The Secretary-General condemned Iran's attack during the meeting, but at the same time urged

01:16Israel not to hinder ceasefire efforts in both Lebanon and Gaza.
