Wojciech Szczesny spoke about his joy at joining Barcelona only four weeks after he announced his retirement

00:00It's a proud moment. It's a very proud moment. I was honestly ready for retirement and I was happy

00:08there. So I wouldn't do this for anybody else. And to be here and to, in the first couple of days

00:16that I've been in the city, to see how people treat me and how important this is for them,

00:24it makes me proud to be part of this amazing family. Because even though it's a huge institution

00:32and a huge football club, I feel the family within the first two days. And this is a big thing for me

00:41because family has always been very important to me and now I've just extended it a little bit.
