00:38A Pulse Asia survey finds Vice President Sato Duterte's trust rating dropped 10 percentage

00:47Conducted from September 6 to 13, the survey coincided with congressional hearings on the

00:52Office of the Vice President's proposed 2025 budget.

00:55Duterte was absent from a number of those hearings, and her snarky attitude in those

00:59she attended became controversial.

01:01The Commission on Audits' move to disallow part of her confidential funds were also in

01:06Despite all this, Duterte remains the most trusted among the top four government officials.

02:30After seven years, a Manila court convicts 10 fratmen for the 2017 hazing death of USD

02:35Law student Horacio Asho Castillo III.

02:38Ten Aegis Juris Fraternity members are found guilty of violating the old anti-hazing law

02:43and are sentenced to reclusión perpetua.

02:47They are also ordered to jointly pay Castillo's family P625,000 in actual expenses and damages.

02:54Castillo's death from a fraternity initiation is among the biggest and most controversial

02:59hazing cases in recent history.

03:01Officials of the University of Santo Tomas were called to the Senate in 2017, including

03:05its law dean and Aegis Juris alumnus Nilo Divina.

03:09The investigation led to the enactment of a new anti-hazing law in 2018.

03:14Castillo was a 22-year-old freshman law student when he died after being punched and paddled

03:18for four hours.

03:22Hezbollah's deputy leader Naim Kassem says the movement is ready to confront any Israeli

03:28The statement comes after Israel assassinated the group's chief, Hassan Nasrallah, on September

03:34For two weeks, Israeli forces dealt multiple blows to Hezbollah, eliminating several of

03:39Meanwhile, the Palestinian militant group Hamas says an Israeli airstrike killed its

03:44leader in Lebanon on Monday, September 30.

03:47Another Palestinian organization says three of its leaders died in a strike in central

03:51Beirut, the first such hit within the Lebanese capital.

03:54Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Khaani says Tehran won't let any of Israel's

03:59quote criminal acts go unanswered.

04:02Lebanon's health ministry says more than 1,000 Lebanese have been killed and 6,000 wounded

04:11A court finds K-pop star and BTS member Suga $15.1 million or $11,500 for drunk driving

04:20Police have also revoked his license.

04:23The rapper's songwriter apologized for the incident in August.

04:26He called it, quote, careless and wrong behavior.

04:29His label, Big Hit Music, said Suga had failed a breath test, which police use to measure

04:33blood alcohol level.

04:35Suga has been engaged in social service work in order to meet his military duty commitment.

04:40The case prompted some BTS fans to call for him to leave the band.

04:44Suga's label did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
