Man works to transform static caravan into log cabin

A man spent £10k transforming a static caravan into a stunning log cabin in just four months.

00:00It's taken 35 years and a global pandemic for me to realise a really important lesson

00:06in life. I used to work a lot because that's what I was taught to do. You need to work

00:12to earn money to pay your bills and if you're not doing that you're not successful. It wasn't

00:17until the global pandemic where I lost all my work that I needed to reduce my outgoings.

00:23So we decided to do up this static home. Since then a lot has changed. Our outgoings

00:31have reduced dramatically which means we don't have as many bills to pay. That means we don't

00:38have to work as much. Because we don't have to work as much we've got more time. Because

00:43we've got more time we can do more things that we really want to do which means we're

00:50less stressed, healthier and happier for it. And in my mind the simple life is the

00:56best life.
