00:07the star big man, Mike Phillips, shared the news that a tragedy caused him to drop his heart in the game.

00:19De La Salle University Green Archers won their second consecutive victory

00:24after defeating the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers 88-67 in their match this Sunday at Araneta Coliseum.

00:33The performance of the big man, Mike Phillips, which scored double-double 12 points and 18 rebounds, was a big deal for the DLSU.

00:43After the game, the DLSU star player became emotional and couldn't stop his tears.

00:50Phillips admitted that he was emotional because of the defeat of his friend, Daleo Susalta.

00:57For those who don't know, Susalta is a security guard at the dormitory where Phillips is staying at Taft Avenue.

01:04According to the 21-year-old, Susalta became a close friend of his.

01:21He was someone who took care of us. He was a part of our DLSU family.

01:28He just recently passed. He passed two nights ago.

01:34Last night, I was just in a dark place and I saw the most beautiful sunset after training.

01:44Phillips also added that he learned a lot from Susalta who taught him various things about the culture of the Philippines.

01:52I learned so much from him about what it means to be a Christian here and he really taught a lot.

01:59Phillips promised that he will do his best to give glory to the memory of his close friend through his game.
