This choir consists of throat cancer survivors who had their voice boxes removed

They may sound different compared to typical choirs, but audiences still love them.

00:13We want to make people aware of the stigma, to get it out of their heads.

00:19There are very few people like us.

00:22Every year in Croatia, 150 tumours are diagnosed.

00:27Most people don't know what I'm talking about.

00:35It's easier when they know what I'm talking about.

00:38It's just that people treat us differently.

00:40So the plan is to perform.

00:42I've never been a supporter of these groups.

00:58But it's true that people with the same problem can understand each other.

01:07Singing is an exclusive therapy for the tumour.

01:11We need the tumour to be activated.

01:20The audience enjoys our voice.

01:22It's always emotional.

01:24I ask people if they have tears.

01:26I would never lead a meeting if I knew they were tears of sadness.

01:31If it's tears of joy or emotions, I just want people to express strong emotions.

01:36What's more important than music? Emotions.
