00:07Mersing Deputy OCPD Deputy Superintendent Sharif Shai Sharif Mondoy stated that the

00:13incident occurred at 11 am on Thursday when the two workers, who were cleaning a school

00:18in Felda Tenggaro 5, attempted to chase away the elephant.

00:23The deceased sustained severe injuries to his neck and chest and succumbed to his wounds

00:28en route to the hospital.

00:30The other worker suffered head injuries, internal bleeding and multiple fractures and was rushed

00:35to Sultan Ismail Hospital.

00:38The deceased's body was sent to Mersing Hospital and police have classified the case as sudden

00:43death.

00:44DSP Sharif urged the public to avoid engaging with wild animals and to immediately report

00:49any sightings to the authorities.
