Pope Francis begins tour through heart of Europe to promote peace and boost his dwindling flock

With church attendance in decline and child abuse scandals still live, the pontiff has arrived in Luxembourg to try and raise morale.

00:37The Pope met with Luxembourg's Grand Duke, the country's Prime Minister and other government

00:41officials, and called on Europe to be a beacon of peace amid war and a welcome home for migrants.

00:50He praised Luxembourg's tradition of opening its doors to foreigners, but also urged it

00:54to use its financial well-being to help poorer nations, so their people aren't forced to

00:59flee to seek better economic opportunities in Europe.
