00:12It's a narrow gauge railway that runs between Aberystwyth and Devils Bridge in mid Wales.
00:20It's unusual in that it was run by British Rail until 1989. It opened in 1902 as a mining

08:26The name Devil's Bridge comes from the legend that an old woman lost her cow and saw it wandering on the other side of the river.
08:34The devil appeared and offered to build a bridge in exchange for the soul of the first living creature to pass across the bridge.
08:44When the bridge was completed, rather than the old woman crossing it herself or her cow,
08:51she threw a crust of bread onto the bridge and her dog ran across, so the devil got the soul of her dog.
