Someone's funeral came to the Prophet's house to offer his prayers.

The Prophet asked,

Was there someone's debt on this dead body?

People said, No.

The Prophet offered his funeral prayers.

Then another funeral came.

The Prophet asked,

Was there someone's debt on this dead body?

People said, Yes.

The Prophet said,

You can offer your prayers.

Abu Qatada said,

I will pay the Prophet's debt.

The Prophet offered his funeral prayers.

The Prophet said,

If I get money from Bahrain,

I will give you a lot.

But the Prophet's money did not come from Bahrain till his death.

When the money came from Bahrain,

Abu Bakr announced,

Whoever has a promise from the Prophet,

Or someone's debt on you,

He should come to us.

So I came.

I said,

The Prophet said to me,

After hearing this,

Abu Bakr said to me,

I counted it,

It was 500.

Then he said,

Take double of it.

When a dead body was brought to the Prophet,

Someone's debt was on it.

The Prophet said,

Did he leave anything to pay his debt?

If someone told you,

Yes, there is so much money to pay the debt,

The Prophet would lead his prayer.

Otherwise, the Prophet would tell the Muslims,

Lead the prayer of your companion.

When Allah opened the doors of victory for the Prophet,

The Prophet said,

I am more worthy of Muslims than them.

So whoever is dead,

And he is in debt,

It is my responsibility to pay his debt.

And whoever leaves the Muslim wealth,

It is the right of his heirs.
