Quinn doesn't want Daniels feeling 'ghosts' of past QBs

After a career night on Monday, Dan Quinn wants Commanders QB Jayden Daniels to be authentically himself.

00:06But I also don't want Jaden feeling any ghosts.

00:10Making sure he understands there's only one name on the back of that jersey, and that's for him.

00:15And I don't want any comparison or any of the other stuff.

00:18I think it was the Teddy Roosevelt quote, comparison is the thief of joy.

00:21And I agree with Jaden on that.

00:24And I don't want to compare him to anybody but him.

00:27Because he's still growing.

00:29And quite honestly, John, I can't wait to see who he's becoming.

00:33He had a remarkable game.

00:35And I was really, really proud of him.

00:37We know how important the position is here to him, to the organization.

00:40But we also wanted to make sure, like, man, be you.

00:43And authentically you, and do it in your own way.

00:46And we've really seen that.
