00:00He takes the bunches of the logs of wood and sells it in the market, and he fulfills his
00:09basic needs from the money he gets.
00:13Once while doing so, he had to cut the wood of the tree alongside a river.
00:19So he went near the river, climbed up the tree and started cutting the branches of the
00:24tree.
00:26While cutting, the axe fell from his hands and went into the river.
00:31The woodcutter went down and started thinking,
00:34Oh!
00:35How to take the axe out of the river now?
00:40The woodcutter could not swim and so he started crying.
00:45At last he started praying to the God,
00:47Oh God, I cannot swim, this is a forest and I cannot see any human around.
00:57So how will I get my axe back and how will I fulfill my basic needs, God?
01:06As he was talking, a man arrived there.
01:09He came to the woodcutter and asked him,
01:13What happened to you, my friend?
01:15Why are you crying?
01:17Why are you so sad?
01:19Did anything or anybody hurt you?
01:22The woodcutter said,
01:23No, I didn't get hurt, but my axe fell into the river.
01:29I cannot swim.
01:31How will I be able to take the axe out of the river if I cannot swim?
01:38The man said,
01:39Oh yes, why not, tell me where it had fallen?
01:45I was cutting this tree and it just fell below this tree itself.
01:51The man said,
01:52Don't try, I will help you to take your axe out.
01:59After saying this, the man jumped into the water and he started searching for the woodcutter's
02:04axe.
02:05While searching, an axe came into his hand and he came out with that axe.
02:10When he took the axe out of the water, he saw that the axe was made up of gold.
02:16He said to the woodcutter,
02:18See, I found your axe.
02:21Take this.
02:23The woodcutter said,
02:24No, this axe is not mine.
02:28My axe was not made up of gold.
02:31My axe was made up of metal and it had a wooden handle to it.
02:37This is completely made up of gold.
02:40I don't want this one.
02:42What the man did is that he kept the golden axe near the riverside and he jumped into
02:48the river again.
02:50He started swimming and searching the woodcutter's axe and another axe came into his hand and
02:56he again came out with that axe in his hand.
03:00He came up and asked the woodcutter,
03:02Is this one yours?
03:05The woodcutter saw it and he said,
03:08Oh, this one is a bright silver axe.
03:12Even this one is not mine.
03:15The other man got irritated and he said,
03:18Now, I will jump only once and see if I get your axe.
03:25If it is not yours, then I will go my way.
03:29The woodcutter said,
03:31Okay, fine.
03:34And then the man jumped into the river again and he bought out another one.
03:40When the woodcutter saw this axe, he became very happy and said,
03:44Oh, yes, yes, this axe is mine.
03:46This axe is mine.
03:47Give it to me.
03:49It is the same.
03:50It has the wooden handle and it is made up of iron.
03:54That man came with the axe to the woodcutter and said,
03:58Very good.
04:01You are very honest.
04:02You speak the truth.
04:04When I gave you the golden axe, you said that is not yours.
04:08When I gave you the silver one, you were not ready to take it.
04:13You took the one which really belonged to you.
04:16Therefore, I reward you with the other two axes as well.
04:21Take these and run your business smoothly.
04:25I helped you because you are honest.
04:30The woodcutter asked,
04:32Really?
04:33The man said,
04:34Yes.
04:35Saying this, the man revealed his real face.
04:39He was a God.
04:42The woodcutter took blessings from the God.
04:44The God said to him,
04:46Never speak lies.
04:48Always be honest.
04:50If you are honest, then people will come to help you in your difficult times.
04:55So, children, the moral of the story.
