00:00When you start tasting the recitation of Qur'an, no music will take its place.

00:06You will not need to have a fatwa on whether music is halal or haram.

00:10Music will just become irrelevant to you.

00:12Because the Qur'an, the divine melody, divine music, revealed music, Qur'an,

00:21that will just flow in your heart and you will just never want to whistle a tune again.

00:26It will just take over, you know.

00:30And you recite Qur'an with melody.

00:33تَغَنَّوهُ وَتَدَبَّرُوا فِيهِ And think deeply about Qur'an.

00:38Dive into the meanings of Qur'an.

00:41Pull out the pearls and treasures from the Qur'an.

00:43لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ So you can become people of success.

00:46This is the words of Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

00:48Call us people of Qur'an.

00:50I pray that we are able to live up to that advice.

00:52And I pray that Allah Azzawajal makes us witnesses,

00:55makes the Qur'an a witness in our favor and not a witness against us.

00:59I pray that Allah helps our communities grow more and more in their iman

01:04through their sustained relationship and a constantly growing relationship with the Qur'an.

01:09I pray that our young generation, through that young generation come

01:13an entire army of young students and teachers of this book

01:17that will spread the love of this book.

01:19And the understanding of this book for generations to come.

01:23This has to be a responsibility the ummah carries, every family carries.

01:28We gotta know our book, guys.

01:30Whatever Qur'an you've memorized, at least study that tafsir.

01:33At least request the imam to do tafsir of those surahs that you've already memorized.

01:38If you've already memorized the surahs from Juz Amma,

01:41just take advantage of our podcasts, free downloads.

01:44The only thing that will cost you is your time.

01:46At least learn what Allah is saying in those surahs.

01:49So when you are standing in salat, you're talking to Allah.

01:52Talk to Allah. It changes you.

02:48In those ayat, Allah says, He sent guidance to all humanity.

02:52Qur'an is the month in which this book should be shared with all humanity.

02:57Bayyinatin minal huda wal furqan.

03:00There's such beautiful description of the Qur'an for the month of Ramadan itself.

03:04The first thing Allah told us about Ramadan was not fasting.

03:07He said,

03:09He doesn't say,

03:15Month of Ramadan, you're gonna fast in it.

03:17No.

03:18Month of Ramadan, Qur'an came in it.
