Hindi pinapasok sa Manila Yacht Club ang mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) para mag-imbestiga, ayon sa update ngayong araw ng BI tungkol sa naging pagtakas ni Alice Guo mula sa bansa.

00:05Since I was appointed as Officer-in-Charge in the Office of the Commissioner,

00:11I asked for authority to conduct an internal investigation

00:16regarding the personnel of the Bureau of Immigration.

00:20The first thing we did was to get a list of immigration personnel

00:26who are on duty at different airports from July 1 to 18 of 2024

00:32and not just at the airport, but at our border crossing stations

00:36so that we can establish if Ms. Alice Go's way of leaving

00:42is through the sea or via airplane.

00:48Now, we already have an initial theory,

00:52but as I pointed out, Your Honour, it is just the first theory.

00:58We are subject to the strictest scrutiny.

01:01The theory that we presented to you informally yesterday,

01:08and that we also presented to Senator Gatchalian informally yesterday,

01:13is that he left via sea. That is the first theory.

01:18The first thing we based it on is what Alice Go and Sheila Go's passports contain.

01:24There are two things.

01:26First, there is a stamp dated July 18, 2024 that he entered via Kuala Lumpur.

01:33Second, there is a stamp stating that he also entered via Sabah on July 19.

01:40Now, based on the first theory that I mentioned,

01:45subject to the strictest scrutiny, he left via sea

01:51using also the testimonies of Alice and Sheila Go,

01:56and entered via Sabah.

02:04because witnesses said that they left via yacht.

02:10One thing we did was to go to the five officials of the Bureau of Immigration in Manila Yacht Club.

02:17But we were told to submit a letter and ask for an appointment

02:21to conduct an ocular inspection of the premises.

02:30But we wrote on September 13 to formalize our request to conduct the ocular inspection.

02:39Did the Manila Yacht Club respond?

02:41As of now, we have not yet received an answer regarding that.
