00:06but why did they replace our favorite Margot Robbie?

00:09It is interesting, but there are even several reasons.

00:14Joker Folly Adieu, will still be closer to the musical,

00:18and Lady Gaga will be able to use her pop persona to promote the movie.

00:22The second reason, Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn exists in a different universe from Margot Robbie's,

00:27offering creative freedom for a fresh take on the character.

00:30And the third, most important reason, is that Robbie gave Gaga her blessing in October 2022.

00:36Harley can now be one of those characters that other actors get to have a go at playing,

00:41and I think she'll do something incredible with it.
